IMPORTANT: The leash attachment strap is separate from the waist strap to allow for safe and quick release of your pet's leash in case of emergency. This is achieved with the safety release buckle.

1. Place Horizon Hip Pack around your waist, clip buckle to close and adjust the slider on the waist strap until you achieve a comfortable fit. Then, thread the leash attachment strap through the handle of your dog's leash as illustrated above.

2. Open the safety release buckle and slide the leash attachment strap through the opening of the safety release buckle.

3. Press to close the safety release buckle and pull on leash to ensure it is secure.

4. For immediate release in case of an emergency, simply pull the end of the exposed leash attachment strap. This action, will open the safety release buckle, so the strap can slip out and release the handle of your pet's leash.
